The Guyan River Cloggers are gearing up for one of our favorite annual traditions — dancing our hearts out in the Ironton-Lawrence Memorial Day Parade, and YOU are invited to join the fun! In 2025, spectators showed their love for clogging. The response we received was HUGE. We truly thank all the the spectators who cheered us on as we danced and honored our veterans. To make 2026 even more grand, we want to create and organize a united group of cloggers to dance in the parade. Ironton spoke and we were listening!
Whether you’re a seasoned clogger, a curious first-timer, or just want to be part of the excitement without dancing, we have a spot for everyone! We'll be bringing the energy, the rhythm, and the red, white, and blue as we celebrate our nation’s heroes with a custom-decorated truck and trailer for small children and anyone who would like to ride instead of dance.
The Ironton-Lawrence Memorial Day Parade is the oldest continuously running Memorial Day parade in the United States, dating all the way back to 1868! It’s not just a parade — it’s a heartfelt tribute to those who gave everything for our country and a vibrant display of community spirit.
Participating in this parade is more than just a festive activity; it's an opportunity to be part of a living tradition that honors the sacrifices of those who served the nation.
By registering, you'll receive the music cut, the routine, and details about coordinated outfits. We want every participant to have all the information they need to feel confident, prepared, and ready to shine in this exciting event!
Matching and themed attire is mandatory for this event. T-shirts are $20 each and will feature the name United in Rhythm and the event.
Whether you want to dance, wave from the float, or just be part of something amazing!
Let’s make 2026's parade the best one yet!
